Would putting OB struts and coils in my 2006 Forester lower it?

I have a 2006 forester. I have heard that putting Forester struts and coils in an OB it will lift the car. I was wondering if putting OB struts and coils on my car would lower it, the doner OB I have is a 1999. Thanks.

If you're comfortable with putting suspension on your vehicle that's almost double the age of your car that's your prerogative. I recommend researching other people's drop build and go from there.
