I changed the front rotors and brake pads. Brakes seem to work great, but when I make a sharp left turn, I hear a scraping noise. I didn't have the noise prior to my brake job. What could it be ??

there is a possibility...not to doubt my fellow mechanics...that they failed to lubricate the caliper slides with di-lithium grease~ this might cause problems...or installed the caliper slides cross-threaded (seen that one too)~...check the free movement of the caliper side-to-side...each wheel~

pull each wheel up in the air, on a lift and inspect...push and pull axially to see how much play there is....turn and listen for grinding of the bearing...note the operation of the brake calipers and amount of wear difference between the inside pad and the outside pad~

Check the heat shield. They get bent easily and it might just be making contact with the tire on corners. Pry it back into position, no need to remove the wheel in most cases.

Thanks guys for all your input. I pulled the wheel on the drivers side again. The caliber slide pin with the bushing on it, goes on the bottom. I had in my haste ( cold outside in Ontario right now ) put it at the top. Once changed around things sound great. Thanks again for all your help. Bloggens
