rockauto keeps throwing this image at me...looks like a flexible connection to your vacuum modulator...I'd certainly inspect this one it's made from RUBBER and steel~

I have noticed my transmission shifting in and out of passing gear for about 2 weeks, intermittently . Then yesterday I was on my way home from work and driving 65-70 mph and all of a sudden the tac and the speedometer went crazy and i was loosing speed. Now it has a funny whining noise and sometimes the gears r there and sometimes not.I suspect the shift solenoid(s). the fluid is pink and doesn't smell burnt...if this were the case, about how much should the cost be for repairs (ballpark)....Thx!

my camera is temporarily unavailable but a transmission mount might be in order....use a floorjack and block of wood to see if there is any separation- --- http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/sku/Replacement/Motor_and_Transm ission_Mount/REPB311501.html
