Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi, please help, my car Audi A4 can't
move if put in any gear, it starts well
but can't move. It will indicate all gear
lights on. When it  first started, the car
will start OK ,reverse OK but when put
in drive it dies. Now it can't move
whether in drive or reverse

So how can I go about working on it, what specifically need to work on to get it back on the road?

Check the transmission fluid level but you will probably need to rebuild the transmission.
