Why does my car not move for 10 sec?

So today I was pulling into my drive way. I pulled in
and put the car in park. Then I decided to move it
upba little, so I put it into drive but the car wouldn't
move. I shifter back to reverse, and then back to
drive, and the car moved. I'm just wondering why
this is happening?

Have transmission fluid checked. Was vehicle parked on a hill or incline when this happened ?
I changed the transmission fluid a couple of days ago, should I check the level. The car was just on a driveway with no incline. But there was some snow.
Its full, what else may be causing problem. Thanks for the help

Do you check it with the vehicle at operating temp and engine idling ? Once vehicle is warmed up go through all gears then put back in park then check level.
Ok I did that, and the oil is still at proper level. Maybe my transmission has a problem This happens before on a ramp. I was going up a ramp, and the car wouldn't go, so I brought it down, and then tried again and it worked. Also the car seems to have less vibration and run smoother when using the triptronic gears.

Was your transmission having this problem before you did the fluid and filter change ?
Yep, it happend before as well. That's why I thought changing the tranny oil would fix it. So I changed it my self, and the the car still has a problem. I bought the oil from the dealer, but i didn't change the filter.

The only thing I would suggest is to add some Lucas Transmission Stop Slip. Do not over fill remove same amount of fluid from transmission as on the bottle of stop slip. No guarantee that it will work but it worked for me when I had a similar problem with my transmission.
Ok I will try that will any brand of transmission slip work or is it only this brand. Also it doesn't seem like a slip, its like the transmission doesn't engage fast enough sometime

That was the brand that I used and it worked but they do have other brands that I am quite sure work just as good.
Ok so I added the stop slip but today my car's fans were constantly working, I figured out there was water in the relay box so I dryed it and my 219 relay was bad , so I changed it and all was good. While I was in there it seemed like someone did some bypass in the computer, the lid wouldnt close onto the computer/ecu so I zip tied the lid. I started the car and tried to move the car but it wouldn't move, so I took the zip tie, and the car moved. Is my ECU bad. Thanks
