My car won't move

Okay so yesterday on my way home from work. I
was traveling norMal and all of the sudden my
RPM and the speedometer start going up like crazy
just whenever I step on the gas and I had it on 1st
gear to 5th even reverse. Is a standard car, and by
the way I just changed the clutch 5 months ago

could be the torque converter. Other issues could be low trany fluid levels can cause the trany to disengage.
