General car repair

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have changed the fuel pump fuel filter fuel line
and fuel regulator and car still wont start. I can
spray starter fluid straight into the intake and it
starts but shuts down. I have tried to hook up a
scanner or reader to find the problem and it keeps
saying error cannot read so I'm lost. Please help
any suggestions

are the injectors firing? you need a noid light to check, if it'll start when "fuel" is added then I would think that is the problem .

Run a direct wire from fuel pump to battery. Putting a fuseable link by the battery is a good idea.

check your cam position sensor or maybe your crank sensor,it might have something to do with your ignition system
