wadaa does your a/c button light and rear defroster quit at the same time and you can hear a clicking sound coming from the dash when the fan switch is on 1-4 also? I'm having the same problem! All the research I've done points to the ignition switch itself. As long as I have the fan off or on 5 when I crank the car or just turn the key on everything works fine. But if I turn the fan to 1-4 the headlights, rear defroster, a/c button light and the fan itself quit and go off like they have no power at all. Cut the fan back to 5 and hear clicking in dash annnnd everything starts working again.
