pontiac grand am will not turn off ignition stuck on will not unlock or turn car off

Saturday of thepreviousweek I was doing a repair on my grand prix gt,, I inadvently put a10 am fuse in the wrong port,, the transmission was stuck park and I could not remove the key,, ,, I repositioned one 10 am fuse and the key came out of the ignition and the shirter could be moved,, hope this was helpful
