My '93 Subaru Impreza locks up in park sometimes. I read that it can be a problem. Right now I cannot get it out of park. How is it fixed?

It happened occasionally if I turned the car off with the wheels turned kind of hard.  But it
always resolved after a couple of tries.  Now it's been like that for two days and numerous
tries.  Help

Bent linkage now if it was forced. Bent or Burred up park pin or it's receptacle slots. Try push/pulling car forward and backwards and tacking it out of park at the same time.
