GOOD OLE DAYS!!!! YOU KNOW IT. OUR ENGINES RAN HOT THERE WASN'T HARDLY ANY EXHAUST, LET ALONE SMOG!!! ALL THIS TECHNOLOGY CRAP IS BULLSHIT!!!! THE WAY AROUND THIS STUFF IS THREE DUECES!!! CAN'T PUT ONE SMOG DEVICE ON THREE CARBS!!!! SORRY FOR VENTING, THIS CRAP P.M.O.

Yes, the 386 will fit right in, as the frames are the same between the two years. There is one proviso, though. What ancillary parts are needed depends on what engine was originally in the 68. If it was a small block car, you will need the big block springs and shocks as well as engine mounts. The big block weighs more than the small block by a large margin.
