Will 18x10 wheel with a 275-40-18 fit on the front of a 2006 Mustang GT?
I want to purchase a set of wheels for my 2006 Mustang GT. No one can tell me weather or not a 18x10 w/275-40-18 will fit on the front? I'm sure that I'v seen 10 inch wide wheels on the front of Mustangs before. I would like to have 18x10s all the way around so that I can rotate them. 18x9s don't seem as deep as I'd like and I want the wide rubber. Any help would be awsome. Thanks.

Wow! I thought that there were car guys on this app? Thanks for nothing! You've all been very helpfull.
im not sure about a 10" wheel. you can put a 275 on a 9" wheel and be fine. gt500 = 9" wheel and 255 front. dont see why youd really want anymore tire than that
Hey. I wanted 10's all the way around so that I could rotate the tires. The 9 inch wide rims did not look deep enough. However, I ordered a set. 18x9-18x10 deep dish bullit wheels n' tires. Thanks anyway. :)
depends on the offset of the rim, you have to get a tire and rim and test fit it, its the only for sure way of knowing
I run 20"X10" with a 35 offset on my 05 GT... No problem, they have never rubbed...

This is a good calculator that offers comparisons http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
They will fit, but they will rub your a-arms. you can put stops on the steering gear to prevent this. I have 275-40-17's and they rub.
