I'm looking at a 2007 Impala with 117K miles on it with the 3500 V6. I don't know anything about these motors and looking to see if they have any problems before I purchase it.

Oil leaks when they get to 100,000 miles plus on ones over 10 yrs old at least. I don’t recommend from what others have told me to keep one past 140,000 miles. Most of these aren’t worth much in trade in at this point for 2010 or older unless well restored classics.

If you're getting an impala i suggest finding one with the 2800 series in it
