cracked air intake hose

Asked by GuruS2QBD Jun 14, 2019 at 06:21 PM about the 2006 Honda Pilot

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

If the air intake hose is cracked would that be the reason my car isnt starting? I
just replaced my battery last August so it shouldnt be that. what else could be
the reason my car wont start?

1 Answer

It would depend on where the crack is. If it is before all the sensors it would not be an issue but like Ed says it would cause a lot of problems if it is closer to the engine.
