Flashing service engine light

My service engine light flashes and the truck
shakes when I press the gas and it stops
when I hit the brake.

The engine is misfiring and damaging the catalytic converter! Visit your local auto parts store and have them scan the computer for trouble codes. Most likely you need a tune up. The trouble codes will tell you what cylinders are misfiring. Hope that helps! Jim
