Do the taillights come on with the headlights? Do the rear turn signals work? Does the license plate light work? I'd suspect a bad ground. The cargo light and brake lights are on different circuits but may share the same ground. The other things I mentioned will tell you if you have any power going back there. Hope that helps! Jim
Yes taillights work blinkers work reverse lights work and license plate light works. The brake lights are the only ones not working, I had to replace the brake booster cuz it was bad and every since then they havent worked and like I said in replaced the brake switch still nothing checked fuses all good and checked wiring for taillights and the bulbs everything seems to be fine but still no brake lights and the 3rd middle cargo quit as well checked bulbs on that they are also good
I would look for a disconnected wire or plug under the dash where you were working. Also make sure the ground strap is connected to the firewall from the engine. Hope that helps! Jim
Still nothing, been looking under the dash for a week and a half nothing seems to be messed up or disconnected. And the ground from the firewall to the battery is connected clean and firm
