Brake lights not working

There is a break light relay I think down under drivers side, or under the hood in the fuse box. Blinkers are working so the circuit is good.
Thanks Rowefast, it was the brake light relay. Replaced it and they work fine

After a year of disappointments and sadness i had parked my favorite truck cuz my brakes lights quit working , i decided one day to completely strip.the front engine compartment wires and redo them.recheck every ground and main wire and right by the brake relay on the firewall i found a ground not connected right .i resoldered the connector and used a self taping screw to ground it ...and out the blue my brakes are working fine ..so its the ground from the relay folks trust me .i used half my head over the course of the year trying to figure it out ,i almost gave a perfect truck to pick and pull over it
