this is my 93 chevy c1500 reg cab pickup. v8 5.7 L. does anybody know if you can put a chip or a programmer on these things

Your best bet is to get a chip/tune from TBIChips.com. If you think you can manage the tuning yourself, get EBL Flash from DynamicEFI.com. Don't mess with that Hypertech crap, it's junk in comparison. Agreed don't mess with hypertech, jet, or motorvation chips. Brian Harris at Harris Performance (TBICHIPS.COM) knows his stuff. You can get one of his premade hot chips for basic mods such as exhaust and cold air intakes or get him to make you a custom chip for all your performance mods. Brian is the man when it comes to 88-98 trucks
