Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Battery in remote replaced with new one, but still the same problem.  It is a smart key with the silver logo.  It worked originally but stopped working after the smart key remote battery died.  With new battery it locks/unlocks door as it should.  Anyone have any ideas as to how to fix this problem.  Thanks.

If it was my car I would go to Toyota and get it programmed right. I cannot find anywhere how to program that year.
