Question type: Maintenance & Repair

As I stated in the aforementioned topic just obtained a new 12 volt battery from the
Toyota Dealership. It was due up here in Northern NY State after about 6 years. But now
the electronic hand-held key doesn't start the car on the first try. It used to open the doors
automatically when we approached the car but now we need to be right next to the door
for it to open. We need to press the "Start" button on the dash several times to get it to
start. Is this an anomaly or a common problem with the Prius?

Already replaced the battery in the electronic hand-held key to the vehicle.
