I bought a car that had a breathalyzer in it now removed. Th car now will shut down while driving. What is likely causing this ?

The person who had the car prior to you had a DUI and was required to have this installed. You probably need to provide some information that you now own this car and need to get this information updated so it's no longer required. Good luck.

The breathalyzer was removed before I acquired it.....and now has the stalling issue....someone suggested a crossed wire...is this the right track or not .
