I have a toyota fx-zs 1989... my thermostat take a long time to rise up... sometimes it does and sometimes i will fluctuate... any ideas on what it could be??It takes so long to heat up... could it be a connection prob...if so where is this located?

If the car runs fine but the thermostat still has a cold reading I am assuming its the thermostat that is malfunctioning.
