I understand that in 1963 there was a STREET 427 V-8, but due to some reason or other it was never announced and the matter was quickly hushed up. This engine was NOT the Z-11 that was only available to drag racers, nor was it the famed "Mystery Motor" for NASCAR. This was a STREET mill. What about it. It seems this would THE rarest of all Chevy engines, but it seems very, very few people knew or know about them. Comments? 1 Answer
