Question type: General
What did the owners manual or service manual list as the dimensions of a first generation Monte Carlo? Wheelbase, width, length, weight, height?? Also, exactly how long were the hoods?

Hello, Length was 207 inches. Wheelbase was 116 inches. Weight was 4237 pounds. I'm not sure about the hoods and height. Hopefully someone else can help with those numbers. Best of luck! CarGrrl

Thanks!! The other dimensions I still would like to know...overall width, height, hood length. The weight answered at 4237 would be excessive since my 1976 is only 4100 pounds with a small block v-8 and A/C....of course this might have beeen with a big block..I don't know..I would figure the weight would have been around 37-3900 pounds...anymore help is appreciated

Length overall, 205.5 inch's, wheelbase 116 inch's, width overall 75.6 inch's, height [loaded] 52.9 inch's, fuel cap. 19 gallons. Curb weight 3594 pounds and the hood is the longest GM ever put on a car, 6' long.. Hope that helps. Remo
