What was the factory rear end for a 72 Monte Carlo ?

8.5 inch 10 bolt with a 350 engine. and i believe a 12 bolt with a big block.

Quick test for a posi. Rotate one wheel if the opposite wheel goes the opposite direction and single track if it goes the same direction its a posi - Good Luck

It normaly came with a 10 bolt but u could buy 1 with an SS package dat came with a 12 bolt posi like mine.
