78 f150 won’t fire

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Hey I have a 78 f150 with a 351m and I’m
stumped as to why it won’t start because it
has a new carb, alternator, battery, fuel
filter and 1/4 tank of premium gas (non
ethanol). Also the carb was sent already
set (fuel and air mixture) and the timing is
set up tdc. So please help me figure this
out

P.s. dist. Cap and rotor and coil are in good working order plus plugs and wires have been replaced before I started this project
First find out if it has spark AT spark plugs. If so try a LITTLE starting fluid in carb. if timeing chain hasn't slipped backfires then washed down cylinder walls rare no spark either pick up in distubuter or brain box on drivers inner fender, notice what color harness is or take with you .hope I helped
Thanks And it does have spark going to the plugs but I’ll pick up a can of starting fluid and give it a try
The connections on the brain of the truck. On my old 79 I cut and crimped new female isulated connected on and never had a problem again.
