I have a 351m in my 1979 ford f150 how hard is it to change to a 302

Different blocks so different motor mounts, different bell housings, but there are kits out there for swaps like this, and the 302 has a ton of aftermarket performance parts for it. FYI the 351M is a truck motor with tons of low end torque, if you're pulling a trailer that's the motor to stick with.

Agree with the above. Stay with the 351M or upgrade to a 400M if you need the extra power.
