Antitheft lock on 89 honda civic

Asked by mslee Aug 12, 2013 at 07:11 PM about the 1989 Honda Civic

Question type: General

Me again, asking now about the antitheft locking system.  I can't do anything until I figure out how to disable the antitheft lock.  My key stops half way.  A couple mechanics and a past car thief told me if no manual, I may have to get the ignition changed.  The ignition in it now is new.  Any ideas.  I have no manual for this car and not sure where to get one.
