That might be coolant leaking please check your cooling system
Thank you, I should have sold it when I had a chance, cooling system? Not so long it was the valve stem seals that I discovered needs replacement due to smoke coming from drivers side. :(
Yes, that's coolant. There is several possibilities. Have a look under the vehicle to see where it is pooling as this could aid in identifying the source. I have replaced my water pump, rear seal and recently replaced my expansion tank. If it's your expansion tank, you should see evidence of spayed coolant on the engine as well as down the sides of the tank. I hope this helps.
A little late here but I bet it is your Valley Pan Cover. It is located under the intake and it a pretty difficult job. I just replaced mine on my 2006 X5 4.4i with 93,000 miles. While you are in there, you should consider doing the valve cover gaskets and the related.
Thanks SirDuke and DROB43, quite helpful answers you provided. Just hope my warranty company will pay up for the repairs. :)
Thanks Cynthia, Pressure test was done on the cooling system Cynthia, thankfully it was a connector pipe that was damaged (in the previous work that was done on the car the guys were not careful), hence the leak. The Beast is Back Now :)
