2004 F-150 Taillights won't work

Asked by donaldsparsons Nov 13, 2013 at 07:39 PM about the 2004 Ford F-150

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 F-150 and taillights won't turn on when headlights are on.  I have changed the bulb ad checked the fuses.  Fuses are fine and replaced taillight bulbs and still taillights won't come on.  I took vehicle to mechanic and he could not find or fix the problem.  Thank you.

have you gotten under it and checked to make sure all the wiring connectors under the truck are connected? check to see if rodents have chewed on the wiring.

I haven't but the mechanic who checked it said all the wires look good to him and said he can't understand why they are not working.
