overdrive light blinking

My battery went dead the other day. And my buddy
hook my battery up wrong putting the black to the
red and the red to the black and now my overdrive
light is blinking now drives rough through 40 and
50 miles an hour and real bad on downshifting
sometimes still everyday driver and my radio quit
working when the battery incident happen I
checked the fuse and it was blown I put a new one
in and it started working

First thing I recommend is having the transmission scanned for codes - something will be stored there giving you a starting point
Sounds like a blown fuse! I have had the blinking overdrive light problem! My truck would shift really hard and run rough downshifting. I would find one of my 15 amp fuses blown! I would replace fuse and fix problem!
My light keeps flashing on my overdrive and it keeps running rough at idle smooth but when you put it in drive it runs rough don't want to take fuel it's a 2001 Ford f150
