What type of oil should I use in a 1998 Ford F150 with over 300000 miles?

The same thing that made it last 300,000 miles! 5W30 would be my choice.

Oil is the most important part of a properly maintained engine. Appears you have been doing regular oil changes. Just keep doing it as you have in the past as long as the intervals are within manufacturer intervals. Whatever brand you have been using, keep using it.
