Car running hot

you said seems how hot is that??? it is getting warner out there...rad.full...fans working???

Air been bleed out yet? Compression test the cylinders & test for exhaust in coolant.

Not so. On an old school engine yes air will work its way out in normal fashion but this engine takes a air bleeder screw valve & even then it is recommended to lift the front of the car up to elevate the radiator to get all air out, as this air pocket inside these engines will completely block all fluid going to the radiator or back from the radiator to engine. This air in the system can create a engine run hot situation all by itself.

Need to purchase a repair manual and follow the procedure I have it but its too long to type in hear. But number 6 or 9 steps says to Cycle engine up to 3000rpm's and back to idle 5 times, then Slowly open bleed valve on top of the thermostat housing for approx 15 seconds to expel any trapped air in the cooling system.

Step 1: Fill radiator & coolant reservoir to cold line with DEX-COOL tested down to -34*f. Step Number 2: Wait for two minutes and recheck coolant level in the radiator, add coolant as needed until it stays at the base of fill neck. Step Number 3: Install radiator pressure cap making sure the arrows align with the coolant recovery tube. Step Number 4: Place heater and a/c control in any mode except MAX and to the highest temp setting. Step 5: Start engine and allow to idle until lower coolant pump hose is hot. Step 6 is above post. Step 7: Close but do not over tighten bleed valve. Step 8: Allow engine to cool to outside temp. Ensure coolant level is at the proper level. Tip: Jack the front end of the vehicle up so the radiator cap is the highest point in the cooling system. Reeving it once in awhile while squeezing the upper radiator hose.
