2001 buick running hot

Asked by 2001Buick Dec 16, 2016 at 09:24 PM about the 2001 Buick LeSabre Custom Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 Buick Lesabre custom. It has
been running hot and the heat stopped
working. We replaced the thermostat and
the water pump was changed about 3
months ago. The radiator is cold but the
hose is hot and swollen. There is also rusty
looking fluid in the radiator. I can't go 5 miles
without it running hot. Can anyone help me
with this!!!!

I think the thermostat is tuck closed and you may be low on coolant.
