My truck will not run without feathering the gas

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2002 dodge ram 1500 4 x 4 with the 5.9
the truck ran fine until I blew a head gasket while
repairing the truck I noticed one of my heads was
cracked I replaced the head and also did a cat
delete since the manifolds were off I also changed
distributor cap and rotor I put it all back together
and now I am getting injector codes p0202 and
p0207 ir will not idle and will not fire up unless I
step on the gas is this typical after doing such a
large repair? Just a quick note I tested the
resistance on the injectors and all were within
range I checked and double checked all
connections were properly done up but can't figure
out why the injectors are not performing properly
could a weak battery be the culprit? Or is this a
common occurrence after such a large repair

Just an update I manually reset the battery and also replaced it and the truck no longer throws injector codes but still will not idle the exhaust smells rich

Another update I have replaced upstream 02 sensor the throttle position sensor , the crank sensor, the idle air control valve I have cleaned the pcv I have removed the throttle body and thoroughly cleaned it 2 times plugs are less then a year old I have checked and rechecked vaccuum lines with both carb cleaner and propane it is still running extremely rich like burns my eyes rich and a rough idle which eventually leads to stalling I dont hear any hissing but I am baffled
