2000 ram 1500 .  155000 miles.  sometimes overdrive will not work.  turn truck off and back on and it might work or might not.  it will only work after repeated on and off of the ignition.  when it does work the truck runs perfect.  Changed fluid and filter.  all looked good.  Help please

i have had this problem with my truck which is an 01 and have heard of other trucks doing it the module is not hard to replace it you have to drop the transmission pan on the truck napa has the part i would recommend replacing the filter while you have the pan off of it

Thanks. Have replaced filter. There are five modules in trans. The ones listed at auto parts dont seem to match what is in mine. Do you happen to know which one is the overdrive./
