2000 ram 1500 2 wheel has 387000 mls on it went to change filter and theres nothing but metal shavins in pan  had truck 3 yrs and always heard like a bearin goin out under neith my feet      ?? is there bearins in a tranny??? can I rebuild it my self ??   or should I just find another tranny

    We have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 5.2. Tranny was working fine 2 days ago, yesterday it wouldn't shift in to OD. The OD on/off light in dash works when you push button. Any help??
