truck will not start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

replaced fuel pump on 1997 dodge pickup 5.2 engine, it ran fine for a while
then sputtered and quit. i checked fuel is still getting to engine. will not crank
any suggestions.

Make sure pump has a good ground , Some vehicles are particular about fuel pressure , just having it won't do . What do the plugs look like ?
