Truck will not start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My truck will not start. Power on and lights etc working but not cranking over.
Cleaned battery terminals still nothing. I can hear a click when I try to turn over
but not in engine bay. The sound is under the gear selector.

I need your model year? Make sure battery has a full charge and connections all good. I usually look up starter wiring diagram, then offer testing advice. Is neutral switch in center console? I can't look up component locations w/o model year?

Battery has a full charge and connections all good? Note the diagram. Did you check those fuses? Is starter relay removable? Any applicable trouble codes?

    I started my truck, then immediately turned it off to remove the club from the steering wheel. when I went to turn the truck back on it would not start.

    replaced fuel pump on 1997 dodge pickup 5.2 engine, it ran fine for a while then sputtered and quit. i checked fuel is still getting to engine. will not crank any suggestions.
