I have a 1996 dodge ram 1500 5.2 318 how do i know if i have a 46rh or 46re because im ttrying to find out how many splines it has so i can replace the torque converter with out taking it apart yet.

I have a 96 dodge I need to identify it but I don't
know if it's a 46rh or 46re how do I tell. How many
splines dose it have and what torque converter
dose it have. There's seven different transmissions
for it so the parts store can't help maybe someone
can help me . Google keeps direction me to place
to buy a new transmission
