If you have to deal with emissions then its gotta be the same one it came with. If your not worried about that then you can put whatever in it as long as you convert things like motor mounts and transmission if needed. and ecu

any engine will fit any car it just depends on how deep your pockets are as modifications such as mounts alteraration of bulkheads and inner wings can work out expensive we put a 5ltr dodge lump into a triumph dolomite 1850 shell and a windsor v8 into a chrysler sunbeam
