my car will not go into park or drive

Have someone shimmy 'round back to see if your brake lights are working...if they don't work, your brakelight switch is out of adjustment, serves as the safety so you won't be monkeyin' with the shifter while rolling~ this one is probably at fault here~ could test it or replace it~
