i have an '03 vw jetta 1.8t. how do i know if it is gls/ gl/ or wolfburgs

just dont know how to tell the difference. was bought used. no manual. lost my key and
needing information in order to find a way to get another one without paying 350 for a new
one. plus the closest dealer is 80 miles away. but my question is merely curiosity.

Just go to a VIN decoder website and put in your Vin #...It will give you all of your specs ...for free :)

Also, here is a quick rundown of the different Styles: GL: Base model, NO leather or anything good GLS: Next up, usually has leather and sunroof GLX: Fully loaded, leather seats, sunroof, decent sound, heated seats GLI: 6pd manual transmission, built for those who like race car features in a four door sedan. No leather, but has VW factory racing seats, sunroof is optional. TDI: This is the diesel model, if you live in cold weather make sure you don't mind starting it up every morning 15 mintues before you leave. Wolfsburg: An older model, has different wheels and features, nothing that you won't find in a GLX or GLI.
