2002 Golf GTI/1.8 - Won't Start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car won't start - you can turn the key and it gives no resistance or hesitation.  
Full power for the lights, dash, radio - but can't start - no clicking sound like
trying to start - nothing.  Any suggestions.

Sounds like a bad ignition lock cylinder.

I've never done a VW, check the web or go to your local library and check out a service manual
