VW Jetta Instrument Cluster

Asked by vancollum Nov 09, 2018 at 11:04 AM about the 2002 Volkswagen Jetta

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have 2002 VW Jetta TDI.  I just had starter replaced.  When I picked up
vehicle, car immediately died. Mechanic said that instrument cluster panel
needed to be replaced.  I bought replacement that now needs to be synced, but
no one seems to be able to do it. How can I get car fixed?

Find another mechanic reinstall the old cluster have the mechanic check to see why the instrument cluster burned out sitting in his shop. Or did you crank the engine long enough to burn out the starter because it died. At any rate find a good mechanic. I hope this helps
