2002 Beetle
I have a question..My left rear light works until I put my foot on the brake and then just the left light goes out until I release the brake. Any Ideas?

Your brake light bulb is out. Most of these bulbs have two filaments inside them -- one for regular driving lights, and one that is energized when braking. Replace the bulb and you'll be fine.
