Typically you would replace the timing belt at 100k, and transmission flush, coolant flush, and fuel system cleaning should have been on 30k intervals, so 120k should include these as well as spark plugs, distributor cap, plug wires, and a rotor with the distributor cap.
agreed,also oil and filter change.
Here's a neat little link that I found that works for most cars: http://www.edmunds.com/maintenance/vehicle.do You can enter any car and mileage and it will tell you what the recommended maintenance is. Assuming you have a 2001 VW Jetta GL with Manual Transmission AND you live in the LA area (Zip Code is a parameter that is required - to give you an estimated cost) here is the rundown: Part Description Part Cost Air filter $ 20.30 Brake fluid $ 8.40 Engine oil $ 10.50 Oil filter $ 7.40 Spark plugs $ 14.40 Total Estimated Parts Cost $ 61.00 Labor Action Item Labor Cost Replace Air filter $ 3.22 Check/service Battery $ 12.88 Flush/replace Brake fluid $ 45.08 Inspect Brake system $ 19.32 Check level Coolant $ 1.29 Inspect Drive belt(s) $ 1.93 Inspect for leaks Engine $ 6.44 Change Engine oil $ 12.88 Inspect Hinges, locks & latches $ 3.22 Check level Manual transmission fluid $ 6.44 Replace Oil filter $ 6.44 Inspect On-board diagnosis system $ 12.88 Check level Power steering fluid $ 1.29 Replace Spark plugs $ 32.20 Inspect Steering linkage & ball joints $ 12.88 Inspect Wheels & tires $ 5.15 Check fluid level Windshield washer $ 1.29 Total Estimated Labor Cost $ 184.83 Total Estimated Costs Total Estimated Parts Cost For Your Area $ 61.00 Total Estimated Labor Cost For Your Area $ 184.83 Total Estimated Cost (excluding tax)* $ 245.83 So it's a bit more that changing the oil - if you want to do it right.
Considering a 2016 VW Passat 1.8 TS @87k miles, what is the estimated maintenance cost @100k?
