1990 vw

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1990 vw cabriolet convertible. The power windows do not work. However when i touch the power window switch, i hear a clicking sound from under the dash. Could it be some blown module or something under there because the windows go up/down when directly powered?

Hello, It could be a blown module, loose part, or loose wire/relay. With older cars, it is difficult to diagnose the precise problem without actually hearing it or performing a diagnostic. Best of luck! CarGrrl
