My 2002 wagon has a loud whining sound when I drive it. Do you know what this might be?

Wheel bearings, knackered differential, bad auxiliary belt or pump on engine, could be a bad centre bearing on prop shaft or could be something as simple as one of the backing plates rubbing on a brake disk.
