Hi There I have a problem with a mercedes E240 Estate 2000. Won't go past third gear seems to be in limp mode, new velocity plate put in, oil leak fixed and new seal replaced on transmission ECU connector, new transmission ECU, still no go. Upon starting the car no gears engaged I am immediately getting an error code P0700 can you help?

Check here, it explains that your code is a general transmission fault code and a way to investigate further... www.obd- codes.com/trouble_codes/
